Hi, I am Sam, your Canterbury baby photographer.
My comfortable studio is based in St John’s Lane, Canterbury, and can be easily reached from Sandwich, Deal, Folkestone and other parts of Kent. I specialise in creating timeless portraits of your family and provide beautiful images and wall art to adorn your home.

WHAT ARE OLDER BABY SESSION?
Older baby sessions are more commongly known as “sitter sesssions”. This is because they are best suited for babies between 7 and 10 months who can also sit comfortably unaided.
If your little one is younger and can’t sit up yet… don’t worry!
No problem! I have photographed many younger babies who can’t sit yet.
I would advise waiting until your baby is around 4 months of age to have a session, this way you will get a more varied gallery of images, especially if your baby loves tummy time.

I am so excited you have chosen me to be your photographer!
Booking is simple, all you have to do is drop me an email saying you would like to book, say you would like to book and older baby session. Let me know what dates you are considering for your session and we will take it from there.
WHAT IS THE PRE-SESSION CONSULTANTION?
This in-person consultation is a very important part of your experience with me as it gives us time to meet before the shoot, and for you to tell me all about how you invisioned your perfect session, from colour choices, what to wear, where you will be displaying your images. No stone is left unturned.
I want you to feel confident that everything is planned down to the last detail so you have nothing to worry about on the day.

A £65 non-refundable session fee  is required at the time of booking to secure your date and time.
Approximately 2 weeks after your session you will be invited back to the studio for your reveal appointment, so you can finally see your beautiful gallery of images and choose which package suit you best!
All older baby photography sessions take place at my studio in Canterbury and last approximately 1.5 hours.
All sessions include a styling consultation.

Considering a baby session at my Canterbury studio? Here’s some frequently asked questions!
Can other people be included in these sessions?
My baby sessions are designed to capture your babies milestone moments. These sessoins do not include family images.Â
My baby is younger than 7 months, can I still have a session?
Yes, my baby sessions are designed to capture your babies milestone moments. Younger babies that are unable to sit are photographed on my posing bag that I use for my newborn sessions.
What happens if we can't make our session?
In the event that you can’t make your session I ask that you contact me as soon as possible so we can arrange a new date for you. I am able to rearrange on one occasion free of charge, but subsequent rearrangments will incure a new session fee to be paid.
What do we all wear to our session?
All this will be discusssed in your pre session consultation.
When will my images be ready?
You will be asked back to the studio for your viewing appointment usually 2-3 weeks after your session date.
