About Me
YOUR PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER IN CANTERBURY
I am an experienced photographer in Canterbury, Kent, and mother to four wonderful children.
My first child was born in 1998 when I was 21, my last child in 2018!
Things have really changed since then.
Photography has always been a passion of mine. As a child I remember lining up my Roland rat cuddly toys and my cabbage patch dolls for a photo shoot, my sister had a Kodak camera which took 110 rolls of film, you had to manually wind each exposure on before taking the next picture.
Then you had the task of begging your parents to get the film developed, usually at your nearest Boots store. You would also definitely get at least one image with the quality control sticker on it. In reality I guess you can say that I have been a photographer in Canterbury for at least 38 years, thankfully I have improved a lot since then!
It wasn’t until I had my own children that I realised just how precious photographs are. They enable us to capture not only our growing children but also our growing family.
I have been a professional photographer for over 5 years. I love working with families, seeing how they grow.
When a family returns to me with a new baby or just to update a family picture, it fills me with so much pride.
